Photography and Product Specifications
Due to the quantities of listings we may use library photography of previous stock items. The item photographed may not always be the specific one you will receive.

While we use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on our website, product specification is subject to change at any time.

Payment
Payment must be received in full before Six Acre Nurseries Ltd will dispatch any goods. All Prices are quoted in UK Pounds (£) and include VAT at the UK rate unless otherwise stated.
Payment will only be accepted in UK Pounds (£) unless otherwise stated.

We do not accept:

postal orders
cheques
We do not take any responsibility for any import taxes, customs charges or administration fees payable on orders made outside of the European Union zone. E.g USA, Norway etc.

Delivery
Responsibility for ownership of the goods passes to purchaser once Six Acre Nurseries Ltd have delivered them.

Options for alternative delivery addresses may be provided during the checkout pages via the website depending on method of payment, and will be subject to our multi-layered fraud screening system.

Unless otherwise advised, delivery will be made by Six Acre Nurseries Ltd and will usually be delivered on your specified date where possible.

All delivery times are estimates and we will do our very best to deliver items when quoted.

The charge for delivery will be shown during the checkout process before you transmit your details over our secure server.

All deliveries are subject to stock availability.

Damages/shortages must be notified within 1 working day of delivery. You may be asked to supply photographic evidence of any damage.

Voucher Codes
Voucher codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, finance or discounts and reserves the right to cancel and refund any orders that are in breach of this.
Third party website discount codes cannot be used through the sixacrenurseries.co.uk.

Your Contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from Six Acre Nurseries Ltd, you will receive a sale confirmation e-mail which details the specifics of your order. This is for orders placed on sixacrenurseries.co.uk.

Your order is accepted and a contract is formed between Six Acre Nurseries Ltd and you when we despatch the goods you have ordered and not before. Any products not on the dispatch confirmation email do not form part of that contract.

Cancellation of Orders – Procedure
Cancellation requests must be emailed to us at info@sixacrenurseries.co.uk.

Whilst every effort will be made to cancel the dispatch of an item, please note that we cannot guarantee that order cancellations can be made if after 06:00 on the day of dispatch.

Any transportation costs for cancelled orders must be paid by the purchaser, except in instances where the goods supplied are faulty, have been supplied in error, or mis-described by the seller.

Returns and Refunds
Return requests must be emailed to us at info@sixacrenurseries.co.uk.

Special Order Items

The Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 does not apply to these items for any reason. Contractual defect and warranty conditions of sale do apply.

A Special order item is any order which has been specified or customised to the customer’s specifications. This also includes any item which is not typically stocked by Six Acre Nurseries Ltd and has been ordered into stock at the request of the customer.

Faulty Goods
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

Due to the perishable nature of many of our products, the usual “cooling off” period does not apply for products that are classified as perishable. This includes many of our plants and flowers. However, we will make every effort to resolve any issues where you have alerted us to a faulty product within a reasonable time-frame.

During the expected lifespan of non-perishable products you’re entitled to the following:

Up to 30 days: If your goods are faulty, you can get a refund.
Up to 6 Months: If it can’t be repaired or replaced, then you’re entitled to a full refund in most cases – however you have to give the retailer one opportunity to repair or replace any goods which are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described.
Goods cannot be returned as faulty where a specific defect in the product was brought to the attention of the customer at the point of sale.


This policy is invalidated if the goods have been altered in any way from their original condition, or if the fault is due to misuse by the purchaser.

Consumer Contracts Regulations

Your right to cancel an order – for non-perishable products – starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive it.

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, any goods that do not fall within the category of ‘perishable’ can be returned for any reason within 14 days after cancellation to return for a refund. Returned goods must be in their original condition and packaging. Please note, however, that this does not apply to items bought in store/in person.

The Consumer Rights Act means that customers are obliged to return items in the same conditions as they were received and as if they had looked and tried out as if in a shop environment – Consumers do not have the legal right to any remedy for problems caused by them damaging or misusing the goods, accidentally or otherwise.

Refunds

Refunds can only be made by the method originally used to pay for the goods. Refunds are processed as quickly as possible and normally take 3-5 working days to show on customer’s account.
